In pictures and captions, Cliff Wold's here shows the equipment supplied, how the food is packaged and packed for the trip, the types of clothing a person should wear and bring along, plus other items a person may wish to bring. . . Also Cliff Wold's tries to show, in pictures and captions, how a person should try to preserve the Wilderness for future generations.

Cliff does this so the Wilderness travelers a hundred or two hundred years from now will have a beautiful wilderness to visit, wonderful campsites upon which to camp, clean water to drink, virgin forests to see, wildlife to observe and encounter, fish to catch, and as near as possible to what the same Wilderness groups will enjoy this spring, summer, or fall. It is great!

It is recommended that the canoeist bring along extra clothing. As an example, for a six day trip, a long sleeve woolen shirt, sweater, or sweatshirt, 1 pair of trousers, 3 changes of underwear, 3 changes of socks, a wind-breaker jacket, moccasins or tennis shoes for campground use, in a zip-lock bag, towel and wash cloth, a handkerchief, and a toilet articles bag containing toothbrush, etc. Cliff Wold's will furnish each customer with a heavy-duty see-through plastic bag. Clothing can be washed on a lay-over day.

The Cliff Wold Tours are specially designed for the canoe trip user. We supply your canoe trip for all groups whether private or non-profit, whether adult only or family, the finest of ultra lightweight equipment: tents, Marathon Grumman lightweight livery canoes, paddles, life jackets, cook kits for your size of group, compass and detailed maps covering your route, food, firegrates for use in Canada, all packsacks, a coffee pot and griddle for your size of group, saw shovel, ax if desired, freshly laundered sleeping bags, water bags and buckets, eating utensils, cooking utensils, rain ponchos, foam sleeping pads for adults, 50 feet of rope, and yes, we supply ample toilet paper.

Your wallet may be left in our safe with your other valuables, but if taken along, it should be carried in a waterproof zip-lock bag. The canoeist may wish to bring along the following items: fishing tackle in a small metal or plastic box, rod and reel, extra line, camera and extra film, notebook and pencil for a diary, flashlight with extra batteries, hunting knife, bug repellent.

Cliff Wold's also provides the above camp tools which include a tarp to cover your equipment when in camp, a water jug in which to store cooking and drinking water taken from the middle of the lake, a shovel with which to dig a latrine when in the Quetico Park where latrines are not provided, a durable sharp bow saw to cut your firewood, and if you feel that it's necessary, an ax for splitting wood.
