I have been outfitting with Ryan at Cliff Wold's for years, and I just can't say enough about how personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful the staff are!!! This year we stayed at the Cliff Wold's campground, just outside of Ely in a bunk room, and it was the perfect place to stay the night before our trip- Picking up the canoe went so smoothly, they were ready for us with a map, and before we knew it we were out on the beautiful waters of the BWCA. They did an amazing job with making sure that my Boy Scout troop had everything we needed to have a good time. We just went last week and all of us want to come back again. The food they give you is much better than I expected it to be and was packed very good. It was almost packed too well! The ham in the ham dinner stayed frozen for 2 days without a cooler and could have stayed like that if we wanted it to. Everything they give you will most likely be used at least once during your trip. The only thing that I wish they packed that they didn't were bungee cords to secure the bags if you capsize. Ryan at Cliff Wold's is always super helpful in planning and setting us up.  His staff is always respectful and friendly and we couldn't recommend them more.  Also with them having their own campground just outside of Ely it makes it easy to stay after a long drive.
